Arkansas Morels - April 2, 2010 - This has been the slowest year in my 30 plus year history in Northwest Arkansas. Only 27 on 4/2 and 50 on 4/5. - Clay

Arkansas Morels - March 26, 2010 - I call this my 12 babies. I found these small “hatchlings” last Thursday 3/26. They are personally the smallest morels I have ever seen. I covered them back up into a blanket of leaves and hopefully the will grow. — Clay - Northwest Arkansas

I found this 10.5″ “wall hanger” on 4/13 at NW Arkansas. It’s in my top 5 of the largest I have ever found.

Holiday Island, Arkansas, April 25, 2008 - Nine inches!

Found in Garfield Arkansas on Saturday April 26th. Our first time hunting Morels! Not top bad for rookies.

Its a little slower than last year. Here is 320 found on 4/7 around Gentry Arkansas. That makes 700 total so far this year. About 50% less than 2007. - Clay

Under a northern red oak in NW arkansas on tuesday, april 7. i missed the one broken off in the background until i looked at the picture the next day.
