Oklahoma Morels - April 18, 2010 - My father, son, and I went out and found these in 3 honey holes in one woods. My father and I have been hunting all our lives and this is our best find ever in one spot ! This is just a picture of the ones my son and I found. My father found around 250 that aren’t in this picture. Total count is close to 800! - Shroomn-Shephards

Oklahoma Morels - April 3, 2010 - More in Lake Texoma found in the evening on 4/3/10. Didn’t find too many and you could tell they had a little bit of wind damage but they were still good.

Oklahoma Morels - March 29, 2009 - Edmond, OK - 64 little bit of everything blondes, grays, and blackies! me and my 9 yr old daughter her first time she had so much fun after me finding the first dozen or so she caught on! she started finding those yellers poppin!

Found 50 big yellows, even a few whites on private family land for about 4 hours. Perfect timing, great conditions, and great mushrooms!
I’ve been hunting since I was a kid. Moved to Texas about 6 years ago, thought I wouldn’t find any down here, til my brother said they grow all over the US! So last year I started my hunting in Oklahoma and found 100 then. Same place as this year. Glad I found a spot to keep up the tradition! I won’t miss a year from here on out! I call mushroom hunting my adult Easter egg hunt! I love the challenge!

Found in about 2hrs in north oklahoma.

Nate is real tired and didn’t want to get on the computer tonight, but they did great today as well. They went to Hughes County, and found about 910 Mushrooms. Which all together these past 3 days we have found just over 2,000. We are all very tired I think we’ll look closer to home tomorrow. - Lacie (Nate-Bathtub Boy’s sister)

The Haul - My Friend and I went morel mushroom hunting in south central Oklahoma. I found 17.65 ounces (wet). My friend has picked them in Oregon before. He found about 3 pounds.

We found 850+ morels in Cleveland and Oklahoma Counties on April 5, 2008. Here are some pictures of my half. - Nate

We found a very large “red” mushroom, never seen one like it. Found it in NE Oklahoma City. - Cae

Note: The “red” mushroom above is not a morel. Do not eat such a mushroom as it will very likely make you sick.

These were found on 03 & 04 April 08 in 2 spots. One was in CE OK & the other was in SE KS. They had a ball. - CMNPU

This is what I found today. I found these March 31, 2008 near Okemah, OK in Okfuskee County. It’s 70 miles east of OKC on I-40. I found these first two and searched a couple more hours without finding any. — Nate

I found this two headed mushroom near Okemah, Oklahoma in Okfuskee County on March 27, 2007. - Nathan
