Kentucky Morels - April 21, 2009 - Found these in Estill County, Kentucky on 4/21/09 on family farm under Poplar trees, think there were 85 in total. I’m 24 years old and this was my first hunt ever, with my Dad and uncle along looking for turkeys.

Kentucky Morels - April, 2009 - I found these mushrooms in eastern Kentucky….They were found by Justin Branham and his buddy Jesse Tackett on April 11, 2009….

Kentucky Morels - April 7, 2009 - Rick in Louisville, KY. Found 70 very fresh in Jefferson county yesterday afternoon on the edges of gravel roads and clearings with no leaf litter. Woods were primarily poplar/pine mix.

Kentucky Morels - March 26, 2009 - Rick in Louisville KY - Found 14 blacks on 3/26. Left some that were only 1/2 inch tall.

My husband and I like to hunt mushrooms in Kentucky. We usually go with our neighbor and divide what we find. On the 25th April 2004, My husband found two mushrooms larger than a pepsi can. On this particular day we found about 60 white/yellow mushrooms on this farm, but divided them with our neighbor who went with us.

All these mushrooms were found during the morning on a farm in Greenup, Kentucky. — Jenny

Found these today 4-26 in Jefferson County Kentucky. A good mix of grays and blonds in the same area about 36 or so. Good Hunting to all!

Found 11 greys and one small blonde on 4-21 very high on a ridge.

These mushrooms were found in Mcdowell, Ky on April 19. They are a total of 124 shrooms most of them were yellow ones but they were some gray and black ones also.

Found these high,,close to top of ridge.Found at the Wolfe /Morgan County line,Kentucky. total for both trips,363. Good Luck to all..Looks like a great season this year. — Cathy

My son Austin and I found these 65 nice blacks on 4/12/08. This was the first time he had found any on his own. Central Ky., Taylor County.

These are some that i found in trammel community, in allen county, ky

first one of the year just outside of louisville kentucky.
