Illinois Morels - April 30, 2009 - I’ve got 343 morels so far since April 25th. Most of them are grays and recently some tans. I’ve also found 34 pecker heads. I am shocked reading the Illinois Message Board the no one from my neck of the woods has reported anything. HWY 50 VINCENNES INDIANA, APRIL 23,2009 - My daughter and I found this beauty on her first mushroom hunt on April 23,2009. It has been quite a while since my last hunt, I forgot how much fun mushroom hunting could be! I was grateful to share this memory with my daughter!!

Indiana Morels - April 25, 2009 - Greetings from Indiana fellow hunters,
My twin sister and I went out hunting this past weekend (4/25/09) and after several hours romping through the woods in the warm weather of South Western Indiana, we gave up and decided to go swimming to cool off.
We took a path we used to use as kids to get down to the water, and there we found the biggest, prettiest Morels we had ever seen in all our years of hunting. Thought I’d share a few pics of our find. And yes, when we were certain there were no more shrooms to be found in the area, we did finally go for that swim.

Iowa Morels - April 28, 2009 - Went home for lunch around 1pm and found these 10 in the woods behind my house. Looks like the season has just begun here. These tasty morels were found south of the I-80 bridge over the Des Moines river. - Lee

Illinois Morel - April 23, 2009 - Took this today with my cell phone. It was the same place I hunted yesterday and can say this “popped” up today because it wasn’t there yesterday. Only found 8 yellows today in river bottoms, I just picked the wrong one at first … southern Illinois, Carbondale area

Ohio Morels and Mushrooms - April 23, 2009 - Circleville Ohio - Found by Robthemushroomman today 4-23-09 went to a local state park .It had been picked to death were i went in the woods to my surprise after walking only 5 minites from the truck i seen a small area of the woods that had not been raked i found a area of undisturbed poplars about 20 or so .I found 1.5 lbs. halfrees and 8 little grays and yellows.
