Found these today west of Winchester Virginia, 121 total some 3″ plus. All were found in an hour and a half, and there were many more. So many we coudn’t pick them all. Found them under mature poplars, unbelievable day!

wow! i didn’t realize they were in our area. do you want to get ride of any? i am originally from kansas and used to go hunting for them all the time. i now live in fredericksburg, va and am longing for some morels! i am 8 & half months pregnant and my husband won’t let me physically go hunting for any cuz he’s afraid i’ll trip and fall or something. let me know. thanks!
