    Found 18 blacks on today. The first I’ve found this year. About 2 - 2 1/2″ tall. It is my early hill that I found them on.It was in Bargersville.

    Is anybody finding any blacks, greys or peckerheads yet in Parke County??

    I have found around 75 in the last week. Nothing great yet. All greys and a few yellows around Rochester Indiana

    I would like to mail morel mushrooms to friends in New York but I am concerned about them arriving safe to eat. Has anyone done this? How did you pack them? Did you send them overnight? I have never mailed any anywhere.

    Found 107 today in Versailles st. park. 5 of us together= more than 300

    Is anyone finding a good amount of yellows yet and what do you think of this cold spell we are suppose to get? I know in past when we have a good amount of warm weather and then a cold rainy spell that pretty much makes them all come out at once…Blacks,greys,yellows.

    good job! i found two spikes and 29 sponges yesturday. i found them in my secret spot and im only 13 and the biggest find i have ever found

    went today near greenfield .east of indy, and found 11 blacks on one side of a downed elm and 17 greys on the other side…tomorrow and this weekend should be perfect!

    I found eight blacks on tax day,five miles south of Sheridan.I have found mushrooms in the same spot,eighteen years in a row

    I just went out to my white mushroom woods today and found 20 but the last three days I have found 165 Black mushrooms. Lawrence county.

    Whoo Hoo! Found about 40 blacks Saturday! We’re located in Morgan County - about 30 miles south of Indianapolis.

    Found 24 small grays today in Clark County. Most too small to harvest, but they are growing fast. Weren’t there in the same spot yesterday–hope to go back to our ’sweet spots’ later in the week for harvest.

    Found 4 blacks and 1 gery today andI found 19 blacks last Friday. All of my usual spots are not ready yet but I look for next weekend to be real good.

    In southern indiana in vanderburgh county and found about 30 half frees today in one spot, splashing through the woods after the storms today. well worth it and ready for some sun and hunting time!

    more black ones it is still a little cool
    yet but they are starting .

    Found a handfull of greys today just peakin out from under the leaves. I’m in vanderburgh county and haven’t been out much yet and eager to get out before i miss them all. Didn’t find any blacks yet but waitin for the good patch of yellows. Is this cold snap going to be bad???? the season seems very early this year?

    I was wondering - the ones that come up early - if theres snow and cold weather AFTER they come up and you don’t find them til then are they still good>?

    Nice I think with the warm spell and the rain it may come on earlier this year. Last year when it was time we couldn’t get in rain in Howard County. Those look tasty! Good idea taking a picture with the computer date.

    where abouts are you in indiana north or south im at the north end of illinios on the mississippi 40 miles south of galena or 60 miles south of wisconsin border just wonderin if they might be popping up around here this early
