    Hello!

I just moved to York, PA about a year and a half ago from the state of Indiana… I used to mushroom hunt with my grandfather EVERY year. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to let me go mushroom hunting with them…? If not, could you at least tell me some places I could go? Please email me at landiskaperak@yahoo.com

    Thanks,

    Landis

Pretty amazing you were able to spot those little ones. You were probably right in picking them as they don’t look as if they’d have grown much bigger due to the dark brown color they’ve taken on. I say that because I’ve witnessed the same thing- probably due to the weather. But the only times I’ve ever seen blacks that small- and I do every year in my early spot- they’re always cream colored still and usually grow a little bigger than that. Nice finds.
