A former missouri boy who loves to hunt for morels. I live in Lenoir north of hickory. I have been searching the woods , but have not found anything yet. Back in Mo. we would start finding Greys around april 15th and the chase was on for the next several weeks. Different climate here. I guess I need to get a feel for the land and where the little elusive buggers are hiding.

I didn’t know morels were here in NC. I moved here from MI and would love to hunt morels here. Could you tell me what area you found them. I am really know my way around to well. Thank you so much.
