Did ok lastnight found 12 yellows, does anyone know how long they will keep popping? We had a good rain today in KC.
been looking for a few years and haven’t found one….getting discouraged…..any pointers although I think that I have heard them all….when lilacs are blooming, around dead timber, especially elm and ash, when temp at night is above 50, when the may apples are up, on river banks, south facing hill, did I leave anything out?
found 86 big yellow with a few grays pound the dead elm trees and it will pay key dead elm rookies
Isn’t mushroom hunting (and eating) great! Grandson and I found 13 early last week when it was still dry in NE MO. Went out Thursday and I got about a gallon in an hour in a drive by hunt of 3 of our favorite spots. Found a mix of small grays and a few large yellows. If it lets up raining this PM, I’m headed out to check our other good spots.

I was happy learn about morels!! It is so much fun hunting for morels!!!! How much are they worth a pound?
Great photos. Were these by a river or creek? Nothing here in Stilwell, KS..
One tiny little gray. Maybe this rain will help.
