Illinois Morels - April 17, 2010 - I found about a pound or two after being out about two hours in a spot that is well known yesterday (April 17, 2010). I live in Wood River, Illinois and they were found in Madison County, Illinois not Wood River.

Reporting in that my husband went out after work in Peoria area & found about 12 very small greys. (I took him out about 5 yrs. ago for first time & now he’s a schroomer too). Some look dry, so maybe after this 2 inches of rain we got in area & today’s warm temp will pop up some new fresh ones. I will try to get out tomorrow.
