Hey fellow mycophagists, I hope you're awakening from your slumber and ready to trek the beautiful foothills.
What's the earliest you've found a morel in the SW region? The first year I found them, and time I found them was on April 28th. I wonder if these warmer temperatures will have an impact on our friendly fungi.
Would you please share your resources of all things mushrooms in Colorado?
There doesn't seem to be a lot of activity on the northern mi boards. Just wondering how things are going for everyone. Any reports on finds in the area yet?
My second year hunting, first year with some success. Anyone else in this area hunting them?
Figured I would share a few pictures from this years hunts.
If you are going to miss the morel season as much as me then this thread can be a place to come and see pictures of what we long to see in the 2018 season.
Post up your favorite pictures from this years season and enjoy.
O H I O
Anyone have any morel reports to share? I'll be heading to the Sierra foothills at the end of the month and will post any findings.
