Saw a lot of good bucks, but really wanted one with the bow. Missed the only one that presented me a shot! Ended up getting a doe, so there’s meat in the freezer!

Howdy everyone, how it be for you all?

It hard to believe that been a member since '14' now, geez how the years have gone by. I think about all the people that have talked to on the site n all that have learned. A many a friendships have developed and great memories and more to come and it has been all because of one thing that grows once a year, that magical mushroom. Who would have thought that a fungus could bring so many people together, but it has n I'm glad it did.
Well everyone take it easy n hopefully we all survive this ridiculously overly hyped up winter storm lol

I'm always surprised at fellow outdoors
people who have never heard of ramps. (Wild leeks, ramsons, etc.)

    Maybe its the name?

In any event, I like to promote this
    wonderful plant:

The perfect combination of onion and
    garlic all in one.

And, and, and, the first beautiful splash
of green you see against the brown/gray
    leaf litter.

A welcomed sight that "spring has sprung."
A harbinger of things to come.
