Yah I’m a little jumpy about it but I covered them all with nature’s blanket leaves and hope for the best they where all to small to take 😬

67 grams total. Very pumped with my first find and enjoying life. Now I just have to figure out how to cook them. Have never tasted morels and am stoked to give them a try. Any suggestions on how to prepare?

We do an egg wash a with a lil milk and salt pepper then smashed saltiness and fried in real butter would be the first way I would go

Not sure but you may want to check for turkey hunting if so no mushroom hunting tell 1

Starting to come up nicely in N IL. Picked ~300 today. Similar size to yours, Toolfan, some decent ones but a lot were still a bit on the small side.
