60 nice size yellows in good condition today. Leaves are crunchy and dry but maybe some rain coming and cool temps next week. Hoping there's another good week left of peak season.
Still feels pretty early in the season for me in dupage county. Started picking the goreville area in southern Illinois over a month ago. Probably start heading up towards minoqua, Wisconsin area in a week or so.
Another great day with my son. We were able to return to the same spot 12 separate times and kept finding more. Hoping to get another trip or two out before I head up north.
