I am finding them everywhere. In places I have looked for years, nothing. This year bunches. They started fruiting a week ago. I am still seeing new ones. This is the ones I picked today. DFW area.

We moved to Amarillo last August from Nebraska. I am wondering if they are found in the Amarillo area. Thanks

Just to note. yesterday the temps soared and humidity dropped. The shrooms immediately started to fade so I had to hurry out and harvest all those I had been monitoring. I picked the last today. My total for the season was 6.7 Lbs. The most I have ever found was 1.5 lbs. I have included a picture of my Two Headed Morel. IMG_0964.JPG

Dont think so. May be to dry out that way. If you can find the cedars around limestone then I would say there is a chance.
