Went out yesterday in the rain and found 70.One of them was about 6 inches tall, the biggest I've found ever. Not to many yellows yet, they're just now starting to come up here.I left several small ones and found a few that we're already bad, don't you hate that.I plan on going back Friday and see if this warm week will push them on up.

Ya'll would make the perfect match! haha... Mountainman, What elevations are you finding those? The apple trees are ahead of everything else, so im a little thrown off. Feel like there is still plenty of time here the WNC mountains. Hasn't been looking to great for me so far!

Congrats on your hunting of these delicious spring shrooms! I live in Vinton county, it has been like a great easter egg hunt around here. Great year so far. Waiting in the rain to stop so I can go out and hopefully find many more!
