Curious if anyone is finding chants or black trumpets in northern Wisconsin this time of year? Heading up this weekend to friend's place (80 acres to scour!) and eager to have a look. Is there anything else I should be on the lookout for?

Hey gravedigger I went up to nicolet forest last weekend. It was kinda dry but in a random spot near pines I found 9 small chants that I left. Also in the cathedral pines area near beech trees found 100 or so tiny black trumpets. Lotsa lobster mushrooms in many different areas. Hedgehogs at peshtigo river state fores in the northern area. Overall, slim pickins, but it has rained since, so who knows. Whereabouts are you?
