Anyone else feel morels will come early this yr 2023

Since last summer I noticed a lot of herbs and mushrooms bloomed earlier than normal, starting with the goldenrod. I even found a lions mane much sooner than normal~ makes me wander if morels will come early. All this rain, butter cups already sprouting here in North Alabama. Thoughts~

I went to check early spot Not Yet~ almost feel those FB posting are from Trolls or just like us Morel Fever Crazy People to go into a frenzy! 🤷‍♀️

One spot was new, other spot's regular but usually in April, my early spot still nothing but in a lil cooler area~ Great Day! FINALLY!!

Yea I did go 7 days before these finds - nothing. Been hunting this spot for many yrs~ when I dream them I find them ~ guess they let me know 🤷‍♀️

Found a bunch more today then freeze will hit and we shall see if next weeks temps bring another popping of them
