Anyone else feel morels will come early this yr 2023

Since last summer I noticed a lot of herbs and mushrooms bloomed earlier than normal, starting with the goldenrod. I even found a lions mane much sooner than normal~ makes me wander if morels will come early. All this rain, butter cups already sprouting here in North Alabama. Thoughts~

So wade, good question….My metro Bham, and its southern metro. 2022 and backwards in that order: March 11 in’22……March 12 in ‘21…… March 5 in 2020…. Feb 25 in 2019…. Feb 27 in 2018…. Mostly 2015-2017 were in the March 10-15 range as best I remember

Each spot has 10-12 specific areas that produce.. im noticing the ground is warming, but very slowly due to our wonderful ground moisture. While that could push the season just a bit from starting, its a good thing. Hey, you cant fix dry. Were not close to any dryness and have Thurs/Fri rain of 1.5” to 2.0”. and it is a Large part of Our Love and Fascination with Morels..🍄
Therefore; as I try to make since of Morel Season beginning and the Progression,
I can except if I draw a wrong conclusion...
Even more; perhaps Every conclusion is inaccurate and remain inconclusive..
Because We just don't have All the information, Only a few of the Pieces..It's Mother Nature ..
and "The Mystery Will Always Be"
🍄🔮 So here is my Guess, from reports thus far..it seems like we have some Morels up about a week Early, and Some Not up Early, but are showing up in a normal date and time...

One spot was new, other spot's regular but usually in April, my early spot still nothing but in a lil cooler area~ Great Day! FINALLY!!
