Very cool. I used to find the Pink Lady Slippers a lot up north (MN), but I didn't know they grew wild down here. Last year I lived in an apartment in Raleigh. I was taking my dog through the woods and found one lone PLS growing in a pine forest. It's always nice to see them. Reminds me of home.
I'm going to try to get out again, sometime this week. It's just kind of losing it's "fun" at this point. I might have to make a trip home soon, just to get back into actually finding morels....
