Anyone Ever find any Blacks or whites/Gold morels in southeastern Ct
the area looks so good for them, but have yet to see any or even hear of someone else finding them

Yeah, so not Southeast, but in the Southwest I found a black morel when my girlfriend and I were visiting her family the other day. Found it in the back yard when we were picking up fallen sticks & twigs from the trees above.

State parks and town parks are closed, so we can expect a huge yield this year
But depends how or when you can hunt in some of the goverent land. That said there are hundreds of areas in CT with public land that isn't really closed for coronavirus.

Not that I'm aware of. I live 2 miles from Sleeping Giant, it's open - the Tower itself is closed. Certain areas of various parks, mostly indoor and picnic areas are closed the remaining parts are open. Happy hunting

I found the morel in Easton, where I am currently living, but am from Fairfield and spent some years in Black Rock
