Hey there! Been awhile since I posted and when I did it was silly... Needless to say Im back on the horse and hunting again! I found some bolets and as for their age, im not sure if the bugs got to them or they are just old. Ive washed and preped them and they smell incredible! (Just like dried porcinis do) Whats the opinion on age? Ill post some pics also.

I'll usually ignore a couple bug holes but that's too much.Bugs are horrible here this year.Lucky to get 10% worth keeping.

YIKES. Those look like the cross-section of an ecstacy addict's brain. Yeah, here in Wisconsin we have the same problem. Boletes and chanterelles are tunnelled to crap. Found way over 500 chanterelles so far and only 200 or so were worth keeping. Well, good luck and have fun.
