Hey outide, from east central Iowa here. Season ended here about May 25th--which was actually late. Always been interested to hear about hunting the burns. That's an entirely different experience than combing the woods in Iowa. Evaluating the balance of elevation and microclimate must be quite a challenge. Any new finds since the last report? What do you mean by "work"? I routinely walk 5-10 miles each outing but I consider it leisure.
