Just picked a handful of chant buttons in my daughter's back yard in oneida county

Nice Fog! Got fooled yesterday by a patch of golden wax caps.Hit the brakes and ran across the road for naught.Thanx for heads up.Don't usually start looking for a week or two.Happy Hunting!!

Oh they were so good made a little bowl out of foil dropped them in with some butter and put them on the grill with a nice sirloin MMMMMMMMM. Now to hit a few known spots.

Checked a known spot for chants , and found about a pound of buttons I love getting to them before the bugs do.

Got a pound or so of chants and an assortment of boletes(edulis,pinophilus and a few others) on a jobsite today.Details at eleven!
