. Found quite a bit yesterday in Preston County, actually lost count because we left soooooo many of them. I have never found a spot like that . . . every where we stepped we were finding them. All were about the size of my pinkie nail and I'm a petite lady. Most were grays but a few blondes were poking their head's too. We managed to pick enough for tonights dinner -- a grand slam actually of some blacks, grays, and fewer blondes. Need the rain. Without the rain . . . well, I hate to think about it!
In Fayette County, PA today. Checked a new spot . . . same situation as above. Some keepers but mostly babies needing the rain.
Best of luck to everyone!!
