I cannot believe how good the picking continues to be this year. With all the great pics & stories on this site, I know that I am not alone sharing in natures bounty. I have been out 4 out of the last 6 days and have picked over 100 each time out. The numbers go higher as the days go on. With the last few days of rain and todays sunshine, this weekend should produce the best days of the season so far. I am now finding them in the hills. I still have visions of walking into the motherlode. It happened once many years ago, where I discovered close to 800 in one spot. Maybe that was a once in a lifetime find, but you have to have faith that it could happen again! I would love to hear of any such finds!
Happy Picking to All!

I am looking to purchase 5 to 10 lbs at one time not for resale but for cooking. I cook for many people in my out door wood fire pizza oven. Last year I paid 15 a lbs for bulk rate. I do not sale them we cook them and use them for our gust. It is some what of a ministry for us. I am also willing to trade nice bottles of red wine for mushrooms? If someone is over loaded post me back or call 402 651 seven nine to eight. I am willing to work for them if someone had a good spot i would bring the wine!

So-so day. Quality, not quantity today. Only about 70 but the sizes were good. Several the size of my hand. 2 rivers getting picked over pretty good. Somebody tell Greg Wagner to STFU! A little or a lot of rain would help to extend the yellows another week or so. Get ready to move I to the hills! Went to my hill spots today that are golden, but struggled to find only a few.
Happy hunting!
