4.5.15: The wife and I found 3 juicy yellows with nice cool stems growing on a south exposure embankment in the northern front range lowlands. We couldnt believe our eyes! We were only scouting because this is our first season in Colorado and the next thing I know, when we were commenting on how the conditions looked perfect, she spotted them shining in the sun. Best Easter egg hunt weve ever been on. Theyre a little burned at the tips. We suspect its from that snow storm that blew through last week. So they'd been up several days. Weve got them soaking in the fridge and they're nice and dense. Hoping to find more this week. Well post if we find more because they're out there!

    P.S. Hope it's doesn't freeze Friday morning

Any recent updates? My wife and I are visiting colorado springs from MA, and hope to get a little hunting in.
