New to west Tennessee. We are originally from NW Arkansas and with these conditions in my old spots I would have found 20 by now!! FINALLY after a week I found my first this year!! Anyone else in west Tennessee had any luck?
I live in middle Tennessee, and usually by now they are up. But as of now i can't find any, it's kinda been cool here and kinda dry so maybe that's why. I am lucky enough to have a giant patch in my back forest. I've been picking them in this same spot for years. Usually i find them on April first, just like clockwork. But nothing as of yet. I'll keep you posted.
I found four yellow ones today I live in middle TN they were right out in the sun went to my other places nothing there yet might be a little early I think we need rain and some warm nights to really make them jump
found 54 greys 2 days ago in the bottoms of land between the lakes. Usually find them in this spot later in the year, but wasnt finding them in my usual plases. Gonna get pretty cold tonight here so i dont know if this is gonna hurt the hunt for tommorow. Finding them around tulip tress elm hickery cotton wood sycamore. Hope this helps someone find them Happy Hunting
