Private ground we have permission to hunt on going toward Berryville. It was a loner though. Several false morels but nothing else beside this one. It's early in the season and it's not from lack of hunting effort. The rain we are supposed to get this week should really help ... I hope.
After two hours in the woods this morning, we brought out 5 very nice blacks (clustered at the base of a poplar), 1 lone grey, and two small yellows (also near poplars). They are coming out ... Just slowly.
