Anytime you run across old puffball mushrooms that are dried and ready to spore out, have the kiddos stomp them with the shoes, not only it is entertaining but it also aids in the spreading of spores

every year we sacrafice a nice size morel and place it on our cars antena and let it dry out , its cool for a bit and will eventually fall off...

Bets On !!! 3...5 dollar bets when hunting with friends 1 who finds the first 2nd who finds the most 3rd who finds the largest... its a good start cuz when the first person finds one, that person has just won all bets, makes you want to win the remaining others... the most and largest... have fun
