Howdy @Jpuette ..Put my eyes on 288 morels this morning. Next week should be a good harvest to start off. Looks like this is going to be a pretty good year for morels as I still have other spots that haven’t popped yet.
Id say that everything is early this year. Usually the pop migrates across my property, this year it seems like everything is popped at the same time, at least 80% of my areas have some activity.Howdy @Jpuette ..
So... I'm looking at your last two post, and this screenshot from You ..last year 2022
🍄 would you say these are adding up to show that your spots are poppin about the same time as last years?
🍄Normal? Early? or ??? View attachment 44664
Ok... @Jpuette sorry if I'm pressuring you to be more specific,.. ..Id say that everything is early this year. Usually the pop migrates across my property, this year it seems like everything is popped at the same time, at least 80% of my areas have some activity.

But .. are you able to determine / Estimate
🍄 that MORELS seem to be Popp'n
🍄 a few days Early?
or
🍄 about a week Early?
or
🍄 more than a week Early?

Oooo.ok..wow wow wow🍄🍄🍄🍄 thank you for your Excellent Reporting to all of usA week or more early. Considering the quantity that are out.
Yep.. I have Also noticed that about yalls time line thereStill nothing in Athens as of this past Thursday evening. Going to check again this afternoon but it turned chilly after the rain stopped, yesterday, so I doubt much else has happened. It's baffling how J Puette can have so many up already, and in my spot there are none so far, only about 15 miles south of there. My "urban" climate is noticeably warmer than the countryside, too, by several degrees nearly always.
Only way to find out is to look.Jpuette, I have a fruitful spot in Forest Park, GA that I typically visit the last week of March. Wonder if they are a poppin now.
