Have to admit I haveh't been out much, but freezers and pantry filling up nicely.Good garden season and thinking good fall shroom season will follow.Happy hunting!!

Hey folks new here and to fall hunting. Always been a morel hunter.

Over the last two weeks I found seven small hens. I ended up picking four and the other died small. I found 2 small dead ones today. My question is will this cool weather in me ohio bring them back.? What about the hundreds of dead oysters and chants I found?

Checked a spot were there are lots of old oaks, but no hens. maybe they haven't started yet in cny

Finding Sweet tooth, Comb tooth, honeys and a bunch of kickers.

I haven't had time to hunt in three weeks but was doing well before that. I even found a few black trumpets, which were a species I had hoped to find in '13. Now, if I can only find a maitake, then I will have four new species this year? I have heard that old street oaks can be good.
