I’m lucky enough to have an amazing 93 year old grandmother who lives on 88 acres by herself. We’ve enjoyed hunting morels together and it is a family tradition. I now live in Florida and I want to fly in and hunt some mushrooms and continue our tradition. She lives in Petersburg Michigan. It’s a small town near Dundee. I was thinking of coming on May 5th. Do you think we have a shot at finding some mushrooms then?

Matt

I'd say you have a 99% chance of being successful on May 5th near Dundee.

Hi Matt - I live in Ann Arbor and hunt all over the region. We are 2-3 weeks behind last year (picked my first bag full on 4/23/17). This means you should buy your plane ticket and tear it up with Grandma on May 5th. Plus it's Cinco de Mayo - Olé!
