I live in Charlotte and just discovered what I think are morel mushrooms in my yard. They look like all of your pictures and have completely hollow stems and caps.

There is a good chance, but one way to be surer would be to send a photo. There are groups in Facebook that could help. North Caroling Mushroom Group. Or The mushroom identification forum... Etc.
