Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has found any near La Crosse yet. I've been itching to go for a long winter!! LOL Let me know if you have found any yet. Thanks a bunch!!

Bit early yet...was out looking today, a bit dry, need more sun and time.

Has anyone in the La Crosse area tried any of the islands on the river? I've heard of people finding them but never looked myself.

I have not ever tryed lookin on the islands. But if I had a boat I would b out there in a heartbeat! I'm just looking forward to finding some Its been a long two yrs!!!!

FungRot we have but I would be very VERY careful. A lot of poison ivy; snakes; and most the time it so mosquito infested just not worth the time.

That said we have before and found a "few" not as many as we thought we would for the work involved and morels should never be "work"
