Well, I hiked all over h-ll up outside of McCloud on Friday and after 6 hrs. found nothing! And I worked the Mushroom Festival Saturday and talked to dozens of locals and no one was finding any or very many, but we all agreed that we think they may pop if the temp warms up this week like it's supposed to. One guy did stop by our booth with about 6 lbs. of Boletes, one of which must have weighed 4 ilbs! It poured rain right after we got our booth picked up Saturday and then actually snowed about an inch when I got up next morning! It melted off fast, though I was burned out from standing on asphalt for 8 hrs. so I didn't go back out. I'm thinkin' there will be results after a couple days warm weather up in that area. So that's the report from up here in far northern California for now! (I gave more info on the Carr Fire area in 'Sierra Nevada' forum too) Happy Shroomin'...
