Found 5 total yesterday under mayapple plants and a hickory tree. T
he soil was mostly clay. Southeast side of Tyler, Criverkat. Didn't find any other patches after a solid morning of looking. It's supposed to rain today. I'm hoping for it.
Thanks for the info, i have been looking around here we have lots of hardwoods like elms oaks and lots of may apple they should grow here no luck yet though but i am going to keep looking
