I tried 4000, 5000, and 6000 ft. elevations today and found 4 (woohoo!) morels at 6000 ft. I covered a lot of area too, but it is really dried out all over due to unusually high winds lately. I'm hoping they are just starting at 6000, so I'll return there and post afterwards. Good Luck & Happy Shroomin'!
