I'm taking my son backpacking the 21st through the 23rd on the buffalo river. What are your thoughts with the rain today-tomorrow and temperatures this coming week set to be in the mid 60's to 70 and lows not falling below 40? I'm hoping we might get lucky!
Jarod, I normally hit my spots on the Buffalo in late April or early May. Probably too early, but keep your eyes open. I find them under tulip trees there.
Yeah, I'm in Fayetteville and ours are usually April to May. Who knows though, maybe we'll get lucky and find some blacks. Thanks for the tulip tree tip!
