Soil temps are finally getting close! I hear you, I'm bout sick of this snow, too. 50° today and we're expecting more on Sunday. The itch for an early season is becoming unfathomable 😩😫I'm in southern MI sitting here watching the snow fall. I'm about sick of it. Got about 4 inches today. We have accumulated a lot since that ice storm a few weeks back.

Thanks so much for this. You rockCap'n Morel here. I've only found two sites in LaPorte County that consistently produce blacks. Both are slopes facing west and they're popp'n in late March, early April. Extremely weather dependent. Just need a little warmer, wetter weather.![]()

Big state park near mongo . Lots of ground to coveranyone can give me a spot for a 5th year on his own (rest was with my stepda) but I usually find 50-75 year. Looking for a spot in NE INDIANA, NW OHIO, or S. MICHIGAN… also have a few spots by prairie heights HS willing To Share.. -Opie Taylor
