Oakland County Morel Hunt!

Hi there! I'm hoping you can help me. I grew up hunting morels in the woods of Cheboygan, Mi - on my families property. It has long been sold (heart breaking) but, such is life. I want to bring my 11 yr old son out to the woods, carry on the tradition. I'm in Ferndale, can anyone help with any hunting locations around? I'm excited, but I don't know where to start.
