I’m in Medina county as well. This is a strange year for me.

Half frees are up. I found some small yellows last week in actual Medina, and 15 minutes down the road I’m finding baby greys.

The yellows were is heavy shade deep in honeysuckle, the hare freeze we’re accidentally found at work growing right next to asphalt

Well this year is looking like a bust for me. Other than the dozen i have in my orchard its been slim pickings. Spent all afternoon bushwhacking in deep here in central and all I found was a headless peckerwood. Even my 80+ mother got me beat with her 2 little grays found bike trail walking . My wife keeps showing me all these pics and videos from face book from all over the world with bucket loads full. Im starting to think,,(and telling her ) they are all photo shopped. Its been years since I have found a good bucket full in one picking.

How is the year for you all?

Im not done yet,, just discouraged. Got aline on some private property down by Hillsborough I want to hit up maybe for some big foots and maybe head up to Michigan if reports are good.

Try sticking to trails. Hiking or horse trails or even abandoned logging roads. Never leave the roads or trails very far. This year I'm finding most of them near the edge of woods by the roads or beside or very near horse trails. If I see some off the trail then I venture into the woods but more often than not I'm right back on the trail since I'm not finding anymore out in the woods. Here are a few photos

Found this up by Sunbury ohio The season looks to be coming to a end soon. Found 20 or so big yellows just on the verge of being to old. The coming rain would of really hurt them.
Better get out there today sb

Sciotoguy - Duly noted!!

Yesterday I did a bike run through Blackhand Gorge in Licking county. Even riding a bike slow doesn't work for finding Morels along the path. Now, bright white Lions Mane is a different story!! Ha!.

Going to try to get out today despite the rain possibility. Actually, I don't mind it raining when I'm in the woods.
Continued good luck to all. (y)

You guys think they’re still pumpin? Any chance with cooler temps coming we could get another flush? Scioto thanks for the tip the other day! That area in general. I didn’t have any luck but I wouldn’t be surprised if I walked by a few. It was so warm I decided not to spend the whole day checking the surrounding area (I should of).
