Found a bunch of spring porcinis while hunting for morels earlier the year. Feel free to ask me any question on the youtube comment section, will get back to them all.

Location: Serra Nevada
Mushroom: Spring Porcini aka Spring King Bolete (Boletus rex-veris)

Actually porcini is an Italian term that refers to legally being able to call 5 closely related boletes porcini. The one you have is a close relative and is just as tasty as the ones Italians call porcini. Some in the USA think that only B. Edulis is porcini. I'm just trying to clarify where the term porcini comes from. Congratulations on finding it. I only wish I were as lucky her on the east coast.
