I am new at this type of hunting, I had to idea what these were until I moved here and saw people posting pics. Anyone that has time to fill me in on like The best time of year, best places to look? and what do you do with them? heard they are good to eat? but do people also buy from you? I know there are a TON in my area, in the woods, we have a natural year around creek ( spring) The Lake is off the Tennessee River as well.
Thanks
Kelly!

its a guess to when they will start every year id different but around the middle to end of march is my bust guess they are great to eat yes you can sell them if your lucky to find enough best places to look are around elm hickory poplar sycamore even found some around oak but they can grow anywhere pretty much as long as the soil is well drained and there is no high wind in that area good luck this year
