TNLake, if your in hardin co TN, it looks like your just north of muscle shoals AL.. If thats the case, the best time is late March thru mid April. Weather could be extreme and get a little outside that range either direction. But, most years that is your window. I hunt and find morels just south of Bham. I would look in creek and river bottoms eith ash and or american elm trees. We have hills/ small mtns around Bham and the hillsides have been was less fruitful than bottomlands. Main keys are timing and getting around ash and elm which will be more prevalent in the bottomlands. Good luck hunting..
