If you want the shroom signal and not the noise......this is where ya come. Speaking of OK, few of the Shroom posse have talked about doing a trip down yonder too....no fricking idea where to go but I guess most of the better shroomin is east of OK City. Maybe down around Eufala lake to start?

I'm offishully retired KB.......it's gonna be weird not having to work my shroom hunting schedule around my work schedule......I'll figure it out.
Congrats on retiring. It is nice to get up early to do something you want to do. I love daybreak on a crisp April morning, heading out to a spot , hoping the morels will be there. Keep going all day at whatever pace you want. Because time makes no difference to a retired picker.

I met a morel hunter who was literally in a walker coming down a very steep slope step by step headed down to where I just picked like 3 lbs..... handed him half the bag on my way up and said see you next season😎
Good on you!! I also give morels to people less fortunate any time I get the chance. It really is just the right thing to do!!!

Yeah, it's weird not having a weekday schedule anymore, taking me awhile to adjust but once the shrooms start poppin I'll be dang sure glad I'm not having to BS the boss to get the afternoon or the whole day off. I'm gonna be hitting it hard..... checking the trees and sniffin the breeze for that sweeeet smell of morchellas.......🍄
