We got hit in the Redding area with over 7 inches of snow last week and WOW what a lot of damage to the forests! (or what's left of them after the 2018 Wildfires). Prior to the snow I was finding a few Blewits here & there but went out snooping around today and only found a few Milky's and some 'Leavarites'. But I was amazed at how much damage that wet heavy snow did; I was having to weave in/under and around broken trees & branches everywhere. If any of you head out there keep your eyes looking upward occasionally for branches, limbs, etc. They don't call 'em widow makers for nothing! Be careful and Happy Shrooming...
