I checked my holes near beatrice yesterday no sign of morel life yet

Searched buddys spots Sat near Alma and nothing. Soil is too cold. Sunday at farm a ways west hit the jackpot. In sandy soil, thin grass, leaf litter. Ended up with 500. 1/4 were very small. Should have taken two bags as I could have filled another one. Never have seen so many. Had one clump of 20. Good Luck, and no I don't have pictures...
