I’m trying to better understand the right moisture and heat conditions to find them between 3500-6000. It hasn’t rained in a few weeks, snow has mostly melted, creeks are trickling into the rivers and it’s going to be getting hot….. are we past the best time or are they going to come in with more heat higher up in elevation?

I think you still should be able to find them at 4500 or above. At least up here between Mt. Shasta & Mt. Lassen that is the case. Good Luck and Happy Shroomin'....
