Went up to our land last weekend and maybe got 6 lbs after three days of hunting. All were large grays, no yellows yet. With the high heat and little rain in the last two weeks, does anyone have any thoughts about the possibility of new growth still remaining for this upcoming weekend? I've never hunted them this late into the year. I love the hours in the woods but if there's not going to be anything up then the gas is too expensive to make a trip for the 4th weekend in a row.

Our north slopes were small grays yet but just not convinced that we're still on for this weekend. Any ideas would be MOST appreciated. <em></em>
